I have been here for all my cars and Bob has been helpful and provides great advice. Test is quick and accurate. Folks are friendly and easy to work with and no lines. I always come back.

I was shockingly and pleasantly surprised by the fact that the smog check of my Fiat 500 lasted five minutes! The price was $79 which might be on the higher end although I don't know how much other places charge these days and a coffee down the street from them if $8 so... it makes sense. They are very friendly, polite and efficient, both in person and on the phone.

The second year in a row, Ive been to these guys for a smog check. They sent me an email reminder and got me in and out of there in less than 20 minutes. Super great service and convenient. Nice people and no upselling.

This was my second time coming to Santa Monica Motors! . First time it was for a smog check and this time it was for an oil change. While driving from Long Beach to Santa Monica only 15 min into my drive my alternator died on me. I got there and asked if they would check my battery and alternator and they said there would be an additional charge . I declined the service and said I would arrange something with AAA and they said don’t worry about we will take care of it at no cost. It turned out it was my alternator and now I had to figure out who was going to get an alternator the same day. Well after calling around and no luck I asked if they did alternator replacement and could they get one same day and they said yes. Initially they said it would take the whole day and by 1pm my car was done oil change and new alternator replaced! My car was like brand new!!! My car was perfect !! I highly recommend them 100% ! I found my forever auto shop!!! Thank you guys so much !!!
