I cried coming from Villa Marina Auto Care after a failed test. They charged $77 for testing and wanted an additional $250 just for a diagnosis and then additional costs for any possible repair work. The guys were nice but that was scary. After a very technical complicated explanation and scary quotes, I wanted a second opinion. I stumbled upon Bob and the team at Santa Monica Motors-Smog and was calmed and assured that perhaps the car just needs to run a cycle. I did for a few days, and it passed. This business is honest, friendly, professional, reasonably priced, clean, and Bob shines with his smile and professionalism. .
