I am a car guy who does a lot of basic work on my own cars. However, there are those times where something comes up that is above my wrenching acumen. That happende recently when the tachometer gauge in my track car started moving erratically. Since this was a likely electrical problem, it had to be taken somewhere. I had used Santa Monica motors several years ago for repair on a former Honda I used to own, and enjoyed the service then. Well, the same holds true now. I was given a clear description of the electrical problem, and it was fixed that day to my satisfaction. My second car is a dedicated track car that is far from stock and highly modified. This did not discourage Karim (owner) from working on the car. This place is honest as the day is long and you get nothing but the feeling that they simply want to get the problem solved and you back on the road. Highy recommended.

Trustworthy business. Don't try to get you to have unnecessary work done on your vehicle. Always easy to talk with about what you would like done, costs, etc. I've recommended this business to ohers.

I've been here a few times. I love the fact that they offer pick-updrop-off service within a 3 mile radius. It makes a big difference.I once dealt with Karim when my spark plug wouldn't ignite a few years ago and I've dealt with Josh once... Both guys are very professional, helpful, and nice. I recommend this auto shop to anyone in the area. And their driver is super nice too!

I've been going to SM Motors for over 20 years through a change in ownership. They are reasonably priced, explain things clearly, and help you to stay on top of repairs and service.
