Very friendly staff and very honest about the work that needed to be done. I would definitely recommend them. The only reason that is keeping me from giving them 5 stars is that I didn't receive status updates on my car. They had it for 3 days and and I was the one that had to call them to find out if there was any new information at the end of the day. Other than that, great service. Thanks!

So lightning fast that I kind of wanted to stay longer to finish the magazine article I had started reading. Completely stress-free, and a good price w/ the coupon. I swear, they were done in less than 15 minutes. I was in and out of the door in less than 20. Amazing.

After taking our car to be serviced at Honda of Santa Monica and having the issue they found fixed, the car was STILL not working properly. Ends up that Honda of Santa Monica didn't diagnose properly but Santa Monica Motors did and the car runs great now!

This shop is top notch. They take the time to explain the problem with your car and suitable suggestions. I took to it to another mechanic who was asking for twice as much as Santa Monica Motors.

this was my first time at Santa Monica motors and I was very pleased. i made a next day appointment online which was confirmed by email. After dropping off my car I was thrilled that they offered me a ride back to my work in Culver City. I've gone to other mechanics in LA, and rarely been offered the same service. I wasn't at all pressured to do more or the reccomendations than I prioritized. AND I love that they emailed me my records. I'll definitely be back!

Bought a used subaru almost a year ago and never had the car fully inspected by a mechanic. I called SM motors and told Josh I needed the car inspected for my upcoming trip to Mammoth. They did a full inspection for free, and informed me the car was in great shape, and didn't need much. They recommended two easy jobs I get done in the next couple of months, but said it could wait and were in no way pushy. Josh was very thorough and explained his recommendation was based on ideal car maintenace to get the most out of your vehicle, but was also very clear that it was not something that had to be done immediately. I also inquired about a major tune-up and was told it wasn't necessary at this point after looking up the manufacturer recommendations and confirming they had done most of the inspection you get at the dealership for $600 for free with the exception of a few things that could wait. I will definitely be going back!
