From reading other people's reviews about this place, I went in confidently expecting good service - and that I got. Bob is great and knowledgeable and competent, and didn't try to hustle me. He explained everything ... I highly recommend Santa Monica Smog Check!!
After initially diagnosing the ABS light code as needing a new speed sensor, I asked them to double-check for chewed wires (rat problem). Sure enough, they found the chewed wires, and fixed the problem for 30 minutes labor. Yay!
