Seriously, not only the best Smog Check place around, but one of the best businesses I've ever dealt with, period! I went in with no appointment and was out in less than an hour. The staff is incredibly friendly. Best of all, Bob will explain everything to you. He went through the results with me line by line. For someone who knows next to nothing about cars, I really appreciated that. There's a $10 coupon on the website. Print it out and give this place a try. You'll never go anywhere else.

So easy! I got here at 5.30pm right before closing time without making an appointment and the car was done in 15 minutes. Really friendly staff and they explained everything well (I don't know much about cars). And I got $10 off since I mentioned I've found them through Yelp. I definitely recommend this place.

Fast and friendly service - made it very clear what I did/did not need to do on my car. Originally had gone to the Acura dealer, and then brought my car here - I'll never take it back to the dealer. Santa Monica Motors cut my costs by a third of what the dealer was asking for similar repairs, clearly prioritizing the work for me, getting rid of things I did not need to do, and identifying some additional key problems that the dealer missed.
