Santa Monica Smog Check and Test Center is a great place to have such a mundane routine check on your smog action. Bob is the guy you want to see. He's friendly, professional and very thorough. He really appreciates your business and does a great job making sure you know that. I waited until the last possible minute to get my smog checked and showed up 30 minutes before they closed for the evening and he still welcomed me as if I was his first customer of the day.

I love SM Motors. They are prompt, honest and do the job well. Numerous times I have been quoted exorbitant prices from a dealer, only to have SM Motors offer a fair price and to recommend a more conservative approach to service (which also saves me additional money).

Josh and the team over at Santa Monica Motors represent the very best repair / mechanic experience I've had across three states in the past 20 years. Both friendly and knowledgeable the staff promptly reports all diagnosed problems and clearly walks you through (explaining and showing) you what needs to be done and what can wait a little longer. Competitive pricing married with honesty and excellent workmanship -- what more is there? Great referrals also to the best places for tires and windshield repair. Caveats? I wish they were open on Saturdays for those times when you need something before the week. Couldn't be happier with my experience and I suspect others will have the same experience!
