I was referred to this place 8 plus years ago. My friend had a Honda and he said this place specializes in them. I tool my Civic there and have been a customer ever since. These guys are amazing. Friendly and knowledgeable. And more importantly fair and respectful. I never once got work done and thought i was ripped off. Never once. How refreshing is that. I've had a few other cars since my original visit with the Civic and they are just as great with the other cars. I live close to the place but if I didn't I would certainly make the drive. This place is a gem. And Josh the manager is amazing.

This is the best place to take your car if you live in LA. I have had my car serviced at Santa Monica Motors since 2006. The staff are completely trustworthy and the prices are very fair. I would not take my car anywhere else.

These guys were great. Dropped off my car, used the yelp coupon for $10.00 off. They were friendly and got the job done in 30 minutes. I'll be coming back here for the next smog check.

So I have been going to Santa Monica Motors for a couple years now and I am always so pleased at the service and attention I get. Not to mention they are extremely fair, will fix anything for free if there is a warranty on the piece and just overall genuineness. Its hard to find a mechanic you can trust, I would never ever take my car anywhere else.
