Santa Monica Motors is the only auto shop I will take my Prius and Subaru even with dealers for both cars right in town. It is a professional, trustworthy and friendly place - three adjectives that aren't normally heard together when describing an auto shop. I highly recommend them.

Took my '07 Honda Civic to Santa Monica Motors, where the staff was very professional and efficient. In about an hour they changed my oil, lubed the chassis, inspected the brakes/tires/suspension and unclogged my windshield washer nozzles. Jason was great to work with. He recommended some things I need to keep an eye on and possibly do at the next oil service, but said basically my car is in great shape. I'll be back!

I took my car here for an oil and transmission change which went as planned, then they did a pretty thorough inspection and ended up fixing my windshield sprayers free of charge. Sweet deal.

Went here for my car's routine Smog check. Got it done in reasonable amount of time, and got some good advice too. Excellent service and explanations. Will definitely go back next time.

I went there for a quick smog check -- and Santa Monica Smog Check totally delivered! I was in/out in about 30 minutes...very efficient and the service consultant (and owner?) Bob was very friendly, giving me helpful tips on how to improve the performance of my car so I'll continue to pass smog checks in the future. Will definitely come here again!
