Service was speedy, they only cost me $62. They told me their concerns with my car oh look, right next door is a repair shop. Thanks for raising the concern. It's not what you thought it was though. A much easier fix and it's free.

Just took my car here last minute as my registration was overdue. I walked in at 11.30 on a Saturday expecting to have a pretty significant wait, but was told it would only be 20-30 minutes. He pointed me to the cafe next door (Lazy Daisy) if I wanted to grab a coffee while I waited. I actually went and had a quick brunch and when I got back 30 minutes later my car was done and the paperwork was ready. I used a $10 coupon available on their website and the total was something like $50. The owner was extremely friendly, and suggested I take my documents to the local AAA office to get my registration renewed immediately, which I did. I'd definitely recommend this place, and will come back when I need another smog check.

I went to 3 different smog stations today. The first said they were open, via online hours, but weren't. The second was horribly shady in their pricing. This being the third I was pleasantly surprised on how friendly they were, how quick they were (finished 20 minutes early) and they gave me a Yelp discount. I would definately come back again!

I appreciate the level of detail that is given to me about the needed repairs. The service manager, Josh, helps me prioritize what needs to be done immediately vs. what can wait till another time. This helps my constrained budget. Also, I appreciate the rides to and from work very much. All staff are very pleasant and knowledgeable.

Well. Best service I've ever seen with something as mundane as an oil change. Highly highly recommend. See?? Customer service goes a long way people!

I came in to Santa Monica Motors/Santa Monica Smog test to do a pre smog check inspection. on my 1997 Nissan Altima. On the phone they told me that the inspection would be $120 and then an additional $69 for the smog test (at Santa Monica Smog test, it's the same place). They also mentioned that they offer a shuttle service to take me home.They were very nice when I got there, and after giving them my information, I was told that the inspection would be just $70. Thinking I just saved $50 already made me happy.I waited about 25 minutes for the shuttle driver and got a ride to my house (also in Santa Monica).After 2 hours I received a phone call saying that there weren't any problems, they took my car through the smog test (and it passed) and the whole charge was $69. So bassicaly, they inspected the car, fixed what was neccesary (I know for sure that the idle had to be adjusted), they only charged me for the test itself, and also gave me a ride back to the shop. I couldn't possibly ask for more.
