After having problems at another Smog check location on Lincoln where the guy was kind of a jerk, I found Bob at SM Smog. It was like a breath of fresh ocean air. He was kind and courteous, and incredibly helpful, and willing to help me out at the last minute. Their location is clean, and had places to sit indoors or out while waiting. And even though there were multiple cars in the lot, they only took 20 minutes to get me in and outta there. Lazy Daisy down the street serves up a good healthy lunch while waiting. Thank you!!!

I've been here for both smog check (LEFT SIDE and coupon online) and auto repair (RIGHT SIDE). The staff (Julio and Josh in particular) were incredibly helpful and operated with integrity. They will also make recommendations for things to keep an eye on, but do not push anything on you. I was able to coordinate my services over email which helps me because I am very busy at work. The only issue I had was when I initially tried to get through over the telephone and could not because it was a very busy day. Definitely schedule an appointment for auto repair. They were really fast and efficient though. However, do get a second opinion ALWAYS with car repair.

I LOVE Santa Monica Motors. Service is always excellent. The guys who work there are friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, & efficient. I have never had a bad experience. I trust them & know I am getting the best service anywhere in the LA area, hands down. If you have a Honda, you would be a fool not to give these guys your business. I recommend them highly.
