Cue Hallelujah Chorus! Ever take your car to a garage and get the feeling somebody is poking you with a stick as the mechanic reads off fifteen "urgent" things your car needs (and how much it'll cost!) BEFORE he even gets to what you brought it in for in the first place? Me too! That's why I was SO RELIEVED when I took my '02 Jeep GC to Santa Monica Motors! We discussed what I brought it in for first, and while my Jeep DID need some other things, there was no hard up-sell pressure to fix it ALL in one Visa billing cycle. Also, I've not yet run across a job Santa Monica Motors needs more than a day to complete. I dropped my car off at 9AM (they even gave me a lift home and picked me up when it was done) and I was back in my fixed ride by 5PM.Most importantly, I like the way SMM treats people. I witnessed several other customers being helped before it was my turn, and each of them (2 girls, 1 guy), and myself, was treated professionally and spoken to respectfully. No BS about the positronic matrix being unstable or the flux capacitor needing an overhaul. Just explanations and solutions...in simple terms. Oh, and lest I forget to mention it, I was very pleased with what I was charged for the work I had done. Without exception, I like the way Santa Monica Motors does business. You will, too.
