Dropped off car at 8:15am on a Saturday without an appointment. Picked it up 45 minutes later with a PASS. Got some suggestions from Bob about my car (i have to drive more heheh). Payed for my car registration the day after. Could you ask for more? I was a little afraid that my car wouldn't pass and the re-test fee is not the cheapest.

I took my 1992 Mercedes into Santa Monica Motors to get my smog test. Raymond also known as Ray was so helpful, knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. They took my car right away. I was so happy that I didn't have to wait long at all. The whole process took about 15-20 minutes. I highly recommend getting your smog test here. And if you have any questions, talk to Ray as he is well-trained and knows all about the smog tests.

These men are professional, fairly priced, on time with promised service and have excellent customer relations. We left feeling that they 'did right by us'.

I came, I saw, they smog-checked! In and out in 30 mins (there were two others ahead of me). I just moved from out of state and was told at the DMV that I needed this done before I could register my car. Had no idea what a smog test was/entailed. Naturally looked it up on yelp and this place had good reviews and was close by. Called to see if I needed an appointment- they said, nope! Just come on in! So I did and that was that. Great service, decent waiting room magazines (thought they were a year old haha), not sure what else to say! Oh, I know! Mention you found them on yelp and you get $10 off the price.
