I've had only good experiences with Karim and Josh for the 5+ years that I've been getting my oil changes are car services here. I usually get an oil change on my lunch break and they're usually prompt and finish within the expected timeframe they give. I've gotten a lift back to work a couple of times when I drop my car off for service in the morning and they're very good about calling and letting you know in the event the work is done or if any issue arises. I've found them to be very honest, trustworthy, and they seem to have a very organized and computerized system. They've never been pushy or recommended any work which falls into the questionable category. Prices aren't going to be the cheapest around but very fair, especially factoring in all of the positives that add up to a very worry-free experience. An A+ operation all around.

Super fast and professional! I drove in on a Sat. morning without an appointment and brought a $10 off coupon I'd printed out from their website. Less than 10 minutes later, I was on my way. Pretty much a perfect experience when it comes to smog checks!

These guys are great. If you need a smog and want to be treated with respect and professionalism go here. I have had to smog more cars than I can remember, and can truly say these guys are the best. They will do whatever is possible to get your car to pass a smog check and not be looking down at you thinking you are just another fool in L.A. Good Luck to all...

Polite, honest, timely and efficient service from Bob, and everything went well. Also there is a cool little cafe next door called the Lazy Daisy which is great for coffee and a bite. Coming back for sure!

So I hadn't planned on stopping at SMM, I was actually trying to find a gas station to resolve my issue, but I saw a light on and decided to stop there to address my potential oil leak. I dropped by and they had been closed for at least an hour and I spoke with Don who was kind enough to take a look at my Mini Cooper - we popped the hood and he checked everything out. As he found I was low on coolant and oil he graciously topped me off - FREE OF CHARGE. It's not everyday that you find a place where people care more about giving you great service than they do in making a quick buck. It lends to their character and tells me that they are honest which is what you want out of a good mechanic. I will definitely be taking the Coop back there for future service needs. Thanks SMM!

Tried this place after reading the positive reviews. Came here this weekend for a smog check. Bob helped me, he was very friendly as well as knowledgable. Smog checks take approx. 30 minutes or less. Definitely recommend this place.
