I LOVE Santa Monica Motors. I've been using them for service and repairs for the past 3 years. Just the most current example of why: I made an appointment last week for and oil change. I showed up right on time and they had a spot empty and waiting for me in the garage. They completed the job faster than estimated & explained a few other issues they spotted - with no pressure to take care of them then and there. The charge was fair and everyone was quite pleasant. What more could you ask for out of an oil change?

This is absolutely the best place on the west side to do a smog check, in my opinion. They may not be the least expensive (they are competitive), but they know what they are doing and they won't try to sell you anything you don't need, they just do their thing and do it well.
