My pickup truck was a mess. Don went through an evaluation with me (scrap or repair). Based upon his honest and rational advice, I chose to repair. Don and his staff did a great job and on budget.

No one likes smog checks. But when the state says you've gotta get it, it's a necessary evil. These guys have done probably my last three. They're fast and the price is right. What more do you need? Never had a problem, no shadiness - the job is done, no problem. Check 'em out if you're in the neighborhood. If they're busy you can hit the coffee shop or park nearby - but it probably won't take that long.

Great service and great staff. Very honest and don't bullshit you. The local shuttle makes it really easy to drop off your car on a work day and not have to take time off which is a major plus.

I don't think about smog service very often and when I do I think "what a hassle", yet after I went to Santa Monica Motors I not only loved the service but I told at least 3 people in the last two days how efficient it was, how friendly the people were, and how I wish so many other businesses operated in the same fashion.
