Santa Monica Motors deserve 5 stars only. Not only Don took a great care of my parking break and synthetic oil change, but also invited a third party specialist from a dealership to take a look at seat-belt pre-tensioner malfunction in my Infiniti M35X. Furthermore, Don advised me how to change the door check, shared his tools and made himself available even after office hours.

I actually joined Yelp to write this review. Today was my first visit to Santa Monica Smog Check and I had a great experience. I typically don't expect very good service, but was pleasantly surprised today. Bob was incredibly friendly and gave me a spot on estimate of how long the smog check would take (30mins). I will definitely be taking my wife's car to Santa Monica Smog check when it is up for renewal in a few months.

I brought my 1998 Honda in with a screeching sound at ignition. It's an old car, and lots of things have gone wrong with it, so I was prepared -- but dreadding -- the bill, which I thought would be hundreds of dollars. But it turned out to be a slipped belt, which was very inexpensive to repair. I have always had good service and appreciate the honesty of Santa Monica Motors. THANK YOU!
