I agree with the other "yelpers'. This place is by far the best place I have gone to.This review is about the mechanic Don Yokom. He is super honest and detailed.The first time I met him, I knew instantly that Don is trustworthy. He explained everything that was needed to fix my car. I felt it was sincere and correct.He is great to do business with, and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend Don and Santa Monica Motors for your car issues.The shop also has a driver, Fidel, who will drive you home and pick you up, when your vehicle is ready.This is my new place to go to, for sure!Thank you, Don and staff!!

I trust the diagnostic work as well as the repair work these people do. They have taken care of each one of our Honda Civics - and I have never had either a problem or a complaint about the work.

Googled Santa Monica smog check coupon and this shop's $10 off coupon came up. Called and Bob said "Come over, there shouldn't be a wait." There wasn't. In and out; very easy. Test only: $69.75, less the $10 off coupon. Hate dealing with smog checks, but this was as painless as it gets. Thanks Bob!

Great Choice!I can't think what they could have done to make the experience any better.No appointment and they took me right in. Bob at the desk explained everything and said it might take twenty- twenty-five minutes and recommended a place to grab coffee two doors away and by the time I came back (15 min) the car was ready and waiting for me.Everyone was polite, professional and prompt! Don was super helpful and FAST! He even went above and beyond, taking care of all the smog paperwork before i even picked up the car. Don and his guys at Santa Monica Motors are my first choice.
