Thank you Santa Monica Motors!! I had really exhausted all options before finding Don, and his great team of mechanics. None of the several auto repair shops I visited knew what to do about my check engine light, several attempts to smog my car--failed, until I brought my car to Santa Monica Motors. Don, and his staff provide exceptional customer service, and Don is straight-forward and trustworthy, I will not go anywhere else from here on! Thanks so much Santa Monica Motors!! My car has finally passed the smog test, and is on the road!

I just moved to Santa Monica from New York and came to Santa Monica Motors to get a smog check. Never done this before as this is not required on the east coast. Bob was very welcoming as soon as I stepped through the doors. He took my car in right away and said it would be done in 15-20 minutes. It ended up taking only 10 minutes. SUPER FAST! Bob was very helpful and informative. I will be coming back here again and again for their great quality service.

I love this place!! Always went to dealer for service in the past, and often felt, and even confirmed that I got hosed......so happy to have knowledgeable friendly staff to consult with, work has always been flawless, and prices so much more reasonable than at the dealership. Only downside is that they are only open during the week, no weekends, but have found an easy remedy using UBER to drop off car and get back to work. Check them out!!

Everyone here was very friendly and knowledgable. For me knowing nothing about cars and am always very afraid of getting ripped off being a female, I didn't feel I needed to worry at this place. Love the reports they send with all the details and pictures, it's very helpful and I've never had a place do that before. thanks again guys!

My Father-in-law needed help after his car wouldn't start. Santa Monica Motors was great. They gave us an honest evaluation of the repairs needed and straightforward pricing. The icing on the cake was when they gave my Father-in-law a ride home and picked him up when the car was ready. In this day and age when an honest repair shop with over the top service is hard to come by, Santa Monica Motors is a true gem!

Great find! Shout out to Car Nerds for the recommendation! Bob was hilarious, so I got a dose of comedy with my smog test at no extra charge. Got in there right away, staff was friendly and courteous, and everything took a total of 20 minutes. A refreshing experience, for a task I don't usually look forward to. But now I will! Bob even gave me great advice on how to keep my older car in good shape. Worth the drive for the great service!
