Excellent service.

I came in with a huge dilemma, needing my engine check light off in order to pass the SMOG test. Don and company promised to do what it took to take care of the situation, in a reasonable and timely manner. They followed through with their promise. I was happy with their service.

had major trouble retrieving my parking pass after window replacement. But you made up for it with repair gratis and washing my car! nicely done.

The guys at Santa Monica Motors are the most TRUSTWORTHY, PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and COMMITTED to doing a rock-solid job of anyone I've found. I trust Don and the guys with the safety and proper function of both mine and my wife's vehicles, and have for the better part of a decade. I recommend Santa Monica Motors!!!

THIS is what customer service is about. I walk in and Bob immediately says he's taking $10 off even though I didn't have a coupon and I didn't even ask for the discount. I was going to ask but he beat me to it. Once he took my keys, I walked two doors down to the quaint Lazy Daisy cafe for a latte and a muffin and when I got back ten minutes later the smog check was finished and I was good to go. I asked Bob "it's done already?" He says "we realize people have places to go & things to do...we try to get you outta here". I don't write many yelp reviews but this time I just felt compelled to do so. These guys deserve the praise.

I can't believe this jewel has been right in front of me and I never used them before. I took my son's car there to get a smog test and a small problem was found. Don, the service coordinator, was extremely helpful and honest. In fact everyone there was very helpful. I certainly will use them in the future.

So happy to know that Santa Monica Motors is there in a pinch. Had my car full on STOP in the middle of the night and it was a relief to know that I could have it towed to the lot and be able to pick it up the next day, good as new (and that's saying a lot for a '98 model Honda).
