Trust goes a long way in the world of car repairs and maintenance. I totally trust them with my car. In this city where a reliable car is required, I feel I'm in good hands.

We received great service from the group at Santa Monica Motors. They were very quick in getting our car in due to an alternator problem, as they were concerned that we would be stranded if we drove the car for too long. Diagnosed the problems quickly, and got everything taken care of the same day. Don was great to work with. We highly recommend Santa Monica Motors for great work and very fair pricing.

As always, Don and Ray came through with flying colors. Courtesy, thoroughness and most importantly, honesty about what I needed and you guessed it, what I didn't need. When's the last time a dealership did that for you? If you have to give your money to someone for your car, give it to these guys. Always.

It's $59.95 with a $10 off Yelp checkin. If it's not busy, it takes like, 10 minutes. This is good because I was literally falling asleep in my chair. Bing, bang, boom. You're in, you're out. Yessssssssssssssssssssss.

Update:Santa Monica Motors refunded the $34 for the unauthorized work. This was a miscommunication / misunderstanding and it's great to know they really care about their customers and the quality service they provide. Thanks!

Don at Santa Monica Motors is a mechanical genius! And a very honest man. I would never bring any of my cars to anyone else!

Had an unexpected mechanical in my jeep Wrangler with loss of clutch. Had to have the car towed to Santa Monica motors without appointment. They diagnosed the problem and provided an estimate within 24 hours. Two days later I had the car back with new clutch and flywheel repair. Santa Monica motors is great!

Checked Yelp first. Called in. Reached Bob. Bob was polite and very helpful with my silly "do you have Wi-Fi" questions. I liked that he set expectations at 30 minutes, even though the actual process took about 20 all told. It cost me ~$70.00 and I passed the first time. I had to buy new plates and register my car so it was EXTREMELY convenient to walk 5 steps and just finish the whole process at once. Eduardo was even kind enough to put the plates on the front of my car. Bob + Eduardo made my experience great.

Santa Monica Motors did an excellent job of servicing my car. Quick, efficient, and a very professional staff.
