Never write reviews - certainly not about a Smog Check place, but I've been going here for years. It's quick and easy, which I'm sure you can find a lot of places. What you will not find at many places is Bob. Truly one of the nicest guys you will ever meet, and at the end of the day businesses are about people, right? So why not support a good human being? Meet him once and you'll know what I mean. Keep up the great work, Bob!

OMG! I love this place. Karim the owner, Don the service manager, Ray, Fidel, et al are just the best. They always go above and beyond whatever it is that I need. I totally trust them and their judgement when it comes to my car. My 14 year old Honda Odyssey is still going strong due to their TLC. They are also very funny (the icing on the cake!).

As always, this most recent visit the guys took care of me. I've been coming to some iteration of SM Motors exclusively since the 80s, and the common thread has been superior workmanship, honesty, and first class customer service.

As always a job well done. Really appreciated the super clean car I got back!

I don't usually write reviews, but these guys are so great I had to. I wrote a five star yelp review and I give them five stars here too. Never had a better garage experience. They were thorough, timely, polite, fair, honest, helpful, and not pushy at all. If I had a baby, I would trust these guys with it! Every business could learn a thing or two from Santa Monica Motors.

Took a while to leave a review but these guys were great. Came in with my car because I had to get it smoged, I was really nervous about paying before because I really thought it was going to fail. They looked at my car before hand and told me if they honestly thought it would pass or not, which no other place offered to do. Think it was Bob who helped me out, thanks again, super nice guy
