I've been here for two years in a row for a smog test and both experiences were 10/10. The staff is very friendly and the service takes less than 10 minutes. For $56 (with Yelp deal) for Smog check. Pricey but needs to get done. See you next year SM!

I just moved to Santa Monica from Washington DC and needed to change of my car tags to CA....so I had to get a "smog test". I searched Google and saw this shop listed with great Yelp recommendations. After reading the recommendations on Yelp, I took my Porsche Panamera Turbo into the shop this morning (8:30am) without any appointment. The guys at the shop were great! They took the car right in and the entire service took less than 20 mins and they were polite, knowledgeable, had clean work areas/waiting space and were fast. They also gave me $10 off for mentioning I found them through Yelp. I paid my $60 and thank them for being great!I definitely recommend them for service.-drew

My car wasn't passing smog. They cleaned it up and did extensive work to make sure it did. They really cared. They have my business forever - and my trust. I'm taking my car back for a full inspection and tune up this month. They also made sure I got to work and had a rental or ride when they had to keep my car overnight. SM Motors made sure I understood what was wrong with my car and why. Education is key in establishing trust. Thank you so much! I love my 4Runner and I'm so glad they cared for it as much I do.

The needed parts were ordered and then I got a call letting me know they were in, the work was done and I was on my way again. Always fast, efficient and friendly service.
