They were very quick. And the woman at the front desk was extremely friendly and had a warm and extremely pleasant demeanor about her.

My headlight was out and I needed to try to get it replaced (and run a couple of other errands) while my daughter was at practice. I called Pep Boys and was told it would take 45 minutes, so I checked Yelp and found Santa Monica Motors. I pulled up and Don quickly walked out, popped the hood and had it replaced in under 5 minutes. To top it off, he did it for no charge!

Went back again for 2017 renewal. As always, courteous and fast service. They even expanded the office, which looks like Starbucks.

what a hidden little gem! I had never noticed this smog place but due to good reviews on yelp i thought i'd give it a try. the entire process took seriously less than 20minutes including payment. They even send the paperwork directly to DMV so i don't have to do anything. Super clean little waiting room and friendly staff from hello to goodbye. Highly recommend!

I'm stunned. I randomly found this place as it was late in the day and I needed a smog test ASAP. It was 5pm and they closed at 6pm. Not only did they say they could do the test before they close, they welcomed me like I've never been welcomed at any place like this. I wish I remembered names but the man who checked my car and did the test was the nicest, most gracious person I've come across in a long time. And they did the test for $20 less than my usual place (they closed at 5, so I couldn't use them) that is a mile away from SMM. I couldnt ask for anything more. Love these guys.
