Quick, convenient service. In and out in a jiffy. A tad more Pricey than other locations but well worth it for all their amenities. Nice touch handing out water and coffee and offering wifi!

I spend zero time thinking about smog checks. The registration comes you moan and throw your head back with the irritation, but then I remember it's important for the environment in and it's the law. I don't even yelp that often, but there is something about Bob and this joint that is just exactly as it should be. Great customer service and a lovely waiting room. My smog check took exactly 7 min. It was just perfect. And Bob is adorable to boot.

I had to get my car smog checked when I moved to LA in 2013 and was recommended Santa Monica Motors by one of my coworkers. I have been taking my car here regularly every 2 years to have the smog check performed. The staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and very fast. After talking to Bob and filling out the paperwork required he said it would be 15 minutes. 5 minutes later the technician came in and said I was done! This place is great! I will keep coming back as long as I need smog checks! Thanks Guys!

Fast,courteous, efficient. I came in on the last day possible to register my truck -with no appointment. In less than 30 minutes it was done: Tested and data sent to DMV. I registered on line.
