I think the thing I appreciate most is the honest updates. If it’s bad news they give it to you straight, if it’s good news they just take care of it and make it easy. Ray is awesome. He takes care of everything from start to finish. Solid guy.

They are always nice and good a good job. I like that they send you pictures of what’s wrong with your car with the explanation.

I am so glad I found this place! Amongst other things my air conditioner wasn’t working and I didn’t want to spend a fortune on these fixes. I called beforehand and they were super helpful. Went in for my appointment and I was relieved that everyone was wearing a mask and there was contactless check-in. They did a great job and it was in my budget! Definitely going back here for any car problems, wishing I would have found them earlier!!!

I’ve been having my vehicles (including an RV!) smogged at S.M. motors for the past 15 years. Every time it has been fast, professional, and courteous. Bob is a conscientious and very friendly guy who makes each visit painless. I’ll echo the previous comments about excellent Covid procedures being followed. They are doing everything by the book and beyond to make you feel safe and comfortable. If every business was run like this, we’d be in a much better place.

A special shoutout to Bob who goes out of his way to ensure a good experience. Today, in these Covid times, I was very happy to see that they were doing everything by the book and beyond to maximize customer safety, right down to sanitizing my credit card before handing it back (my “tap” function didn’t work). If every business was run like this, we’d all be in a better place!

Service is always good and everyone inspires confidence because everyone knows what they are doing. Additionally, I was particularly impressed with all of the safety and sanitary procedures that are in place due to COVID 19. Not all businesses follow guidelines. But Santa Monica Motors follows them explicitly. I was definitely impressed.

I love Santa Monica Motors. I've been going here for years and they never disappoint. My last Smog Check the other day - took 20 minutes and they were so efficient. Great company, local and always deliver. I've lived in SM for over 15 years now and would never bring my car anywhere else for a Smog Check. Clean, friendly, fast and reasonable - what more could you ask for when none of us really want to have to do smog checks in the first place right? Highest recommendation possible. Customer for life here. Oh and they have a coupon online for $10.00 off which never hurts in "these crazy times"...5 stars :)
