This is a great place to do smog certification. I have used them before. It is a great place to do smog certification during the pandemic. Lots of thought went in to how they handle you and your car with the minimum risk of exposure. On top of that, the process was fast. I highly recommend Santa Monica Motors.

I brought my 09 Accord for an oil change and tire rotation. It totaled $80 and work completed in 45 minutes. The owner remained cordial throughout all of our interactions. Seems like a decent enough place.

My experience started with a call. The person who answered the phone was professional and provided me with more than enough information so I was prepared for my visit. The gentleman that met me upon arrival was courteous, assuring, and thorough. They usually suggest you carve out 30-mins for the smog check, but my car was done within 10 minutes. The cashier that processed my payment was efficient. All in all a great experience and I will certainly be back in the future!

Very nice people -- efficient, quick, professional. I also have to say, I was extremely appreciative of the detail and care they took to protect me and themselves in regards to the Covid19 issue. I felt safe and protected while also doing business (paying my bill) in the office. I will use them again in the future.
