I drive an hour to use SM Motors. Yes, their mechanics are good and consistent. What separates them from other places is their customer service. Ray, is very good about picking up the phone and keeping you posted. I appreciate that more than anything else. This is why I drive an hour past other shops who do similar work. Thank you SM Motors, but especially Ray.

Been going to these guys for years - they’re great!!!

Did a smog quickly and with very friendly service. Took vehicle to DMV for a Vin verification and when I popped the hood I noticed a battery cap was missing. I drove back to the smog shop thinking it might have fallen off there. They spent a good 10 minutes helping me look all over for it. Finally one of the mechanics grabbed a flashlight and found it way at the bottom of the engine compartment! To top it off they found another special screw that was missing and got a special tool to replace it! Fantastic customer service and I would recommend them to anybody.
