Santa Monica Motors made my mandatory smog check easy breezy! I set an appointment in May and the second I got there, a lovely gentleman came up to my car and immediately took my info. He was masked up which I greatly appreciated. He asked me to pull my car over to the garage and there were clean chairs outside for customers to wait. I was told the smog check would take about 30 minutes so I was prepared to wait. But only about 6 or 7 minutes went by before I was told the work was all done! Checkout was a breeze as well. Of course, they sent off the results straight to the DMV electronically, no fuss, no muss. The whole process was seamless and I thank everyone there for treating me like a valued customer. I’ll definitely be back! 👍🏽

Quick and easy. Was in and out in less than 15 minutes, and they do registration services saving me a trip to the DMV.

Bob makes it very painless and easy. I've been going here for years. I drove past 4 smog shops to come to SM Motors. This time, my car was ready before I could get eggs on the corner. i was sipping coffee and I got a text saying "you passed", your car's done. I got my eggs to go! thanks again Bob and company.

These folks are amazing! They do out of state California car registration and it took hardly any time at all, my situation was unusual, I was moving the following week, and my title is staying with the lienholder out of state. All I needed was my ID, current out of state registration and proof of insurance, and the vin verification (they're just waiting on getting approval mailed back on this - they should be able to take care of this soon!) They took care of everything. Go give them your business and save yourself 7 hours at the DMV. The processing fee is worth it.
