Car blew out a spark plug late at night and stripped the threads. Emergency tow and overnight dropoff. Fixed within two days with great communication and use of technology (photos of inside of engine, complete description of the issue and possible consequences, texted notification that the car was ready for pickup). Ray was unfailingly courteous and efficient. My only suggestion is to have a secure dropoff box for car keys (unless I missed it). We made a second trip in the morning to drop off the keys, but this is not a complaint by any means! A great business leaves customers feeling great afterwards; Santa Monica Motors nailed it.

Have used Santa Monica motors for many years for service on my Audi. Over the years I’ve gotten everything from scheduled service to brakes to major repairs done there. I’ve compared prices to the Audi dealership and they are consistently light years cheaper even when using the same parts the dealer uses. I usually work with Ray as my service advisor. He has always been honest and straightforward with me about options and calling out things that weren’t worth fixing when I planned to sell my car. I highly recommend this place for excellent and timely service
